Cold housing market meant fewer sales last month in Oakville, Burlington, Milton

In July, home sales in Burlington, Milton, Oakville, and Halton Hills dropped significantly, with an overall decrease of 17.6% month-over-month. Despite fewer sales and new listings, average prices remained stable, with a slight decrease of 0.5% to $1,246,352. Oakville saw a minor price dip of 0.3%, while Burlington's average price fell by 3.3%. Halton Hills experienced a price increase of 6.9%. Homes in Milton sold the fastest, averaging 34 days on the market, attributed to its affordability.
